About us
St Clare’s is a church set in the heart of the Park Barn community. The reason we exist is to help one another know Jesus better, and to encourage others on their life journey to find their meaning and purpose.
We love our community, our nation, our world…we believe God cares deeply for those He has created. At St Clare’s we seek to demonstrate the love of Jesus through practical ways of serving our community. We are a people empowered by the Holy Spirit and seeking to work with His gifts.
Whether you are exploring faith, or have known Jesus for many years - you are so welcome to join us.
We have two different meetings on a Sunday, the 10.30 offers a more reflective space to meet with God, and Church at 4 provides a great place for families and students to be together. We also end this gathering with a simple meal to share together.
Throughout the week there are plenty of other opportunities to meet and get to know us. If you’d like to find out more get in touch!
We are an Anglican church working alongside Emmanuel Church, Stoughton and St Francis, Westborough .
St Clare’s Leadership
James and Michele along with their three children moved to Guildford in 2024 to lead St Clare’s Park Barn.
James is the Pioneer Minister overseeing the team and work of St Clare’s in the Park Barn community. His passions are kayaking, exploring in the woods and tinkering with electrical items.
Michele is the Associate Pioneer Minister, who, alongside James supports the work at St Clare’s church. She loves reading, creating and drinking coffee.
Passionate in their love for Jesus and their community, James and Michele are excited about seeing the lives of others impacted by Jesus’ power and enabled to become all they were made to be.
